The Ministry of Health of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar has said it is in the final stages of preparing a guide to ban smoking in public to control non-communicable diseases generated by smoking.
That was said by the Minister of Health Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, while giving commentary about smoking in the crust and cause great inconvenience to citizens. He said the Ministry of Health already has submitted a bill to protect the health of the community in which one of its major functions is to combat cigarette consumption in the community and part of a collection.
Explaining further, he said the study conducted on non-communicable diseases shows that it is at the 38 percent that are associated with smoking. Kombo said the manual is complete you will be brought before the members of the House of Representatives and delegates to express their views before work and that the law needed to be implemented and managed.
He said there misuse of smoking in public places and gatherings, including people as part of the hospital and waiting transport of passengers and cause serious side effects that are not seen immediately.
